Never Die 03:05
Blindly run away The wheel is turning every day Boldly say goodbye Life can’t hold you in your prime Your prime Caught in your dreams you never die Caught in your dreams you never die Caught in your dreams you compromise Waiting on the sun to rise Caught in your dreams....you never die
2.
Kaleidoscope 03:04
Staring out the window thinking of the days to come Don’t know which way I’ll go don’t know which way I should run Stay a little longer, no need to be so somber Falling rain and southbound trains colliding into one One Basking in the summer sun, kaleidoscope of dreams Just another lonely boy hanging on a string The sun eclipsed and I am over the horizon Caught up in the treasons of my mind eternally...it’s me And it happens every time Gets so hazy in my life Try to keep my peace of mind Getting so high
3.
Another Day 04:17
In the midst of changes Is there one to see through? Tired of turning pages And if I leave will I see you in your light? And it’s too for now Hanging on forever Seasons change ice will melt away I met you in the middle Of a time that’s come to pass We talked about your fears And if the moment will last or fade away And turn to grey And it’s too close for now Hanging on forever Seasons change, ice will melt away Too close to the edge Washed by the water Don’t have time to waste another day Can’t avoid it now Time is running out...for us Too close for now Hanging on forever Seasons change, ice will melt away Too close to the edge Washed by the water Don’t have time to waste another day Another day

Waves are breaking down the line Monuments of space and time Watch the lonely seagull fly Never knowing when she’ll rise Further down the road towards the setting sun Off to where the ocean meets the sky Feel the warmth around where the colors run Into life Waves are breaking down the line Dreams of the coast in my nights Glare of the sun so bright Reflecting off the rising tide Further down the road where my fortune lies Never seen the moon so high Feel the warmth around in the summertime Going where the road winds Going where the road winds Caught up in sunlight With dreams of the coastline...in your mind

Morning 04:23
Well I’d love to say how I feel When the feeling takes hold is it for real? See you walk on by the shady tree If you look me in the eye maybe it’s better I’ve been waiting all night, for you Tried so hard to find you, it’s true See the light burst through the cloud, for you I think it must be morning I think it must be morning I think it must be morning, it’s true Elevated kings and queens hide below The forests are filled with monsters in the fold See you walk on by the monument If you look me in the eye maybe I’m different See the waves they roll right in, again And the feeling comes on strong, again Now the tide begins to rise, my friend I think it must be morning I think it must be morning I think it must be morning, my friend
6.
Souvenir 02:49
There she goes Haunting all my dreams Told you so Things aren’t what they seem In the dead of night Not a glimpse of light I can hear your heartbeat my dear There you go with your broken souvenir Away I go Living on my time Told you so Struggle to get by In my shady tree No one here but me I can here your heartbeat my dear All the shadows they follow you so near And the breeze hits you when you get scared There you go with your broken souvenir
7.
Untitled 04:17
Inside the falling tide Inside the falling tide An alchemy of light Bursting into life A fashion of the night Passing out of sight Exploding as they rise Exploding into light In Light In Light In Light In Light In Light In Light In Light In Light
8.
Mountaintop 03:56
On the wings of light Soaring through the past Ever-changing tide Will one day bring you back I know Let it go Run away from the truth Meet you there, growing loose In the brush, burning bright Darkness scared of the light On the mountaintop See the fields below Just another prop The valley full of snow I know Let it go Run away from the truth Meet you there, growing loose In the brush, burning bright Darkness scared of the light In the brush, burning bright Darkness scared of the light
9.
Wish 01:15
I wish that I could fly I wish that I could fly That I could fly into the sun Fly into the sun
10.
Haunt 03:46
Do I ever cross your mind? Do you think about me time to time? Will it ever be the same? But wait, I’m wishing you would stay Just a-blowin’ in the wind I’ll wait until the sun comes up my friend Does it matter anyway? This time, I think I’ll cash it in My mind, is telling me to quit Looking for someone to follow The hardest pill I ever swallowed It’ll haunt you And make you cry Better get on down the line I run, run around these days Going nowhere anyways It’ll haunt you And make you cry Disappoint you And make you cry Better get on down the line
11.
Such A Crime 08:21
Oh, the feeling goes away Oh, the feeling goes away Cold breeze in the spring rain Oh, the feeling goes away The ocean kisses outer space The ocean kisses outer space The moon would love to get a taste I see reflections of your face And now you’re running out of time And now your life is such a crime Such a crime, such a crime, such a crime Oh, your life is such a mess Oh, your life is such a mess You missed the race in your party dress Oh, your life is such a mess And now you’re running out of time And now your life is such a crime Such a crime, such a crime, such a crime, such a crime, such a crime

about

Grant began recording his sophomore album, “Dreams Of The Coast” in the summer of 2020. This album blends the psych/surf sounds of his previous band, Ocean Forest, with the American twang of his debut album, “Between Tides.” It features fiddle and pedal steel, fuzzed out guitars, and reverb soaked 3 part harmonies.
Notable appearances on the album include North Myrtle Beach native Sadler Vaden (Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit) on lead guitar, along side Gene Elders (George Strait, Lyle Lovett) on the fiddle.
“Dreams Of The Coast” is more of a collaboration than his previous works, with frequent guest appearances and varying influences
